High Protein Dieting Lacks Choices in Foods

Does high protein dieting offer enough variety in its food options? The answer to a question like that depends on the individual. The high protein diet is no different to any other eating plan that has specific guidelines regarding the foods that can be consumed. If the dieter has been enjoying certain foods for years then suddenly they’re not allowed to eat them anymore, then he may need to look at a diet that includes more of the food types he enjoys. The body can adjust pretty quickly to changes in food, beverages, and exercise, but the body is not what fails those who diet, it is the mind.

The desire to lose weight might be strong, but if the dieter really isn’t enjoying the diet, that is the food choices each and every day, then his mind will eventually lead him to relapse no matter how much he wants to reduce the flab.
